Barnardo’s
Is a British organisation founded by Thomas John Barnardo in 1845. Organisation supports young people in crisis conditions, assists in establishing family relationships and overcoming psychological trauma. Through foster care and adoption programs, Barnardo’s helps children to find a loving family and adapt to it. Charity cares for teenagers, helping to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. Organisation psychologists work with children who have been victims of abuse, sexual violence and exploitation. Barnardo’s exists to support, protect and nurture happy children.
Leus Family Foundation
Is the “youngest” foundation on our list. Established in 2018, it has many charitable projects. Dmitry Leus founded this foundation to help young people of disadvantaged families to develop and direct their energy to achieve their goals. Following his initiative and sponsorship, free fencing lessons for children were launched at Harrow Club. Leus Family Foundation also supports medical programs and is a long-term partner of St George’s Hospital. Recently, a renovated playground was opened at St. George’s Children’s Hospital. This organisation helps families with children who have serious or fatal illnesses. Volunteers and psychologists accompany families at all treatment stages, from diagnosis to rehabilitation.
